About Go 2 Pan Mee Restaurant
An old kid on the block, Restauran Go 2 Pan Mee has been around for several decades.
Owned by Marcus Chan, the chefs, and waiters consist of a mix of loyal Burmese staff and locals.
And although their forte is authentic hand-torn pan mee:
The menu has expanded over the years to include other popular cravings.
You’ll find seasonal dishes that lend the menu a jolt of newness. Besides these, gems like curry chicken rice and Hakka dishes are refreshing additions.
In fact, Restauran Go 2 Pan Mee stands out from competitors with their lor pan mee and Hakka cuisine, which is rarely found in similar eateries.
Ease of Parking At Go 2 Pan Mee Restaurant
Since Chow Yang SS2 is within a housing estate, the parking space here is limited.
Apart from a thin strip of legitimate parking bays facing the shop and some closer to the football field:
You’re better off parking along the road. Or within the housing area during peak hours.
The dinner crowd is not as frantic as the lunchtime crowd though. Thus, Restauran Go 2 Pan Mee is still a cozy place to dine at in the evenings.

Food At Go 2 Pan Mee Restaurant
We’ve had the chance to try several dishes at Restauran Go 2 Pan Mee.
To start with, their Signature Hand Tear Pan Mee with Soup is a must-try dish. Their rich anchovy broth is runny. But still full-bodied and flavorful. You’ll get generous portions of vegetables and fuchuk (bean curd sheets) too.
Fried anchovies are separate from the broth. There’s homemade belacan chili that compliments the dish.
Aside from their signature dish:
Lor pan mee is another winner that combines the thickness of the lor mee gravy, with chewy noodles. They are generous with meatballs and other condiments.
The Hakka Yam Abacus is a delight too with its chewy and springy texture that is addictive. The dish has fresh cilantro, pickled vegetables, and marinated minced meat.
Curry Chicken Rice with chunky chicken pieces is good too as it’s not too rich or salty. Aromatic curry leaves elevate the dish. Soft potatoes soak in the richness of the curry.
Finally, there is the Hakka lei cha rice (or pounded tea rice). It has a medley of long beans, choy sam, mustard greens, pickled vegetables, and nuts.
The tea soup is a perfect balance of soothing mint and herbal notes plus earthy nuances.
