Aeon Falim is still relatively empty but they have Aeon BIG supermarket.

In fact, this is the only place in Ipoh with an Aeon BIG supermarket right now. Other shops of interest would be the MR DIY. But there is admittedly very little to browse in this mall.

Besides this, a famous steamboat restaurant chain just opened a branch here (Haidilao Hot Pot, 海底捞).

Conclusion

It’s true that Ipoh shopping malls are not the main draw of Ipoh. Personally, our go-to malls are Ipoh Parade and AEON Kinta City.

But a trip to any of these malls is a good way to chill out in an air-conditioned environment while you formulate your next battle plan. Perhaps to check out food, dim sum, biscuits, and white coffee in Ipoh.

As for the non-shopaholics in your group, there is the option of going to a spa instead! There are many massage spa centers in Ipoh to choose from.
