Since the restaurant faces Din Tai Fung (DTF), diners tend to compare the two restaurants. And still many find DTF’s dumplings better than Paradise Dynasty.

Din Tai Fung offers the comfort of familiarity when you’re feeling less adventurous.
The menu is identical to branches in the Klang Valley. Though prices are higher at the Sky Avenue branch due to logistical costs.
As for the food, diners love the signature noodle dishes and, of course, their famous Xiao Long Bao.
You can watch the tenacious chefs knead the pau dough and shape their famous Xiao Long Bao.
Watch them carefully wrap minced meat, dried vegetables, and savory soup. Each dumpling has the same number of pleats.

As for the food, the tomato soup with its rich tomato puree is one of our favorites. The mala soup is the talk of the town but it is very spicy.
Mushroom soup is a less spicy alternative. Combine the tasty broth with juicy and fresh fish filet for even more flavor to the already divine soup!
But the location of the restaurant is a little obscure and hard to find. Head towards Genting Grand Hotel and then towards Marrybrown to get there.
It’s advisable to book at least a week in advance. Above all, bring your Genting membership card to enjoy an extra 5% discount!

The duck doesn’t disappoint with its crackling thin skin. The portions are decent too. And the succulent meat is neither gamey nor dry.

With fine food and good service, you’ll have to expect a perpetual queue.

On your way up or down from Genting Highlands, make a pit stop at Long Kee Gohtong Jaya and you’ll not regret it.
The restaurant is famous for its steam marble goby (Soon Huat). They catch this right out of the tank when you order.
Moreover, deep-fried pork belly has excellent texture and great sauce. However, the dish is a bit too fatty for some.
