Camperz Hide is at the lower part of Bukit Tinggi hill. The campsite is 35 km from Petaling Jaya. You can use the Karak Highway or the old Gombak trunk road.

Key in “Camperz Hideout” in Google Maps. Remember not to use Waze as it will lead you to Genting Highlands instead!

Each tapak (base) at Camperz Hideout comes with an allocated parking bay right beside it.

So you’ll get to drive all the way to your camping spot, making unloading and packing up a breeze.

Hence, lugging heavy camping gear over long stretches of gravel roads is a thing of the past. So convenient is the process, you’ll get to save on space as a trolley is not needed.

There are no muddy spots and puddles of water icky. As the entire campground has fine, white stones lining the ground.

Part of the thrill of going camping is selecting your prime lot that fits your needs. Campers who adore the river view and sounds of gushing water can opt for bases C and D located beside the river.

While some find the plummeting water soothing sound, others find it too loud for comfort. During rainy seasons, the river water turns murky and currents are strong.

If these bother you, opt for plots A and B which are closer to the vegetable gardens and away from the river.

Facilities At Camperz Hideout

The facilities at Camperz Hideout are close to glamping standards.

They have ample brick toilets, washing sinks, and unrivaled Wi-Fi connectivity too.

But the campsite does not have individual plug points. So you’ll need a hand pump to inflate your inflatable bed or make do with a foam mat and sleeping bag.

Staff clean the toilets several times a day. Garbage disposal is timely. And campers generally abide by the rules to ensure that hygiene standards are tip-top.

We love the campsite for its shady and windy conditions. The consistent gusts of wind keep campers cool and happy.

Pricing

The plots at Campers Hideout have different pricing. According to their size and location.

The smaller bases accommodate between 6 to 8 pax and range from 1519 to 1792 sq. ft. costing RM200 per night.

Mid-range bases between 2,392 and 2,728 sq. ft. for up to 10 pax will cost RM250.

And the larger sizes for up 12 pax at 2175 to 3528 sq. ft. cost RM300 per night.

In our opinion, Camperz Hideout is one of the best campsites close to Selangor!

Thanks to neat gravel plots, spacious land, excellent amenities, and constant breeze. Plus, river views and clear skies. It’s hard to ask for more!

But if you want to splash in a river, then check out Ajin Campsite or Hulu Eco Tamu Resort. As these camping grounds have clear rivers teeming with fish!
