Part of the thrill of going camping is selecting your prime lot that fits your needs. Campers who adore the river view and sounds of gushing water can opt for bases C and D located beside the river.
While some find the plummeting water soothing sound, others find it too loud for comfort. During rainy seasons, the river water turns murky and currents are strong.
If these bother you, opt for plots A and B which are closer to the vegetable gardens and away from the river.
The vegetable farm that is 5 minutes from the campsite is another main draw. Because campers can to harvest and consume the winged beans for free (kacang botol).
You’ll also find durian trees at the other end of the camping grounds. Campers who want to can collect the thorny fruit when they fall down. With permission from the site management.
Another plus point here is that the campsite has many looming trees. These form a natural canopy against the sunlight.
It is cool at night, ranging from 22 to 23°C! Bring a thicker jacket and huddle up for warmth. The temperature drops further in the wee hours of the morning.
River At Camperz Hideout While the river adds to the allure of the camping ground, it’s not suitable for frolicking or playing in the water.
This downstream river water is brown. Contact with the water may cause skin allergies for those with sensitive skin.
Still, Camperz Hideout is still one of the best campsites in the state of Pahang.
And it is often booked over the weekends and holidays.

They have ample brick toilets, washing sinks, and unrivaled Wi-Fi connectivity too.

We love the campsite for its shady and windy conditions. The consistent gusts of wind keep campers cool and happy.
